Kayaks can be launched from our bank into the lake/upper Caragh river. From here Kayak down the lake and out onto Castlemaine Harbour. We are surrounded by some of the best white-water and flat-water paddling in all of Ireland. With the beautiful lakes of Killarney nearby and the exciting Glencar rivers outside our back door, Kayaking in Kerry has a challenge for everyone. We also have
opportunities for individuals to progress their Kayaking skills from flat-water onto faster moving water and onto white-water rapids. An introduction to faster moving water is run on the River Laune from Killarney to Killorglin. Fast white-water rivers include the Flesk in Killarney; the Lower Caragh and the Upper Caragh and Owenroe River in Kerry.
Surfing, Kite Surfing and Windsurfing can all be enjoyed from the close by Rossbeigh and also Inch beach.
